Jonny's New Album

Jonny has been been working on some of his own material recently, and took the time to put some of it down on record. The result is Jonny's first full length album under his own name, which will be available directly from this site within the next few weeks.

The new Matt Schofield album, Heads, Tails & Aces, is out now. The new four-piece band has started touring with the new material, with a whole bunch of UK dates coming up in June. You can get hold of a copy at the Nugene Records site.

New Matt Schofield Band Debut

October 28th will see the debut of Matt Schofield's new band, featuring Jonny on keys. The band have just finished a new record, due for release early next year, and will be previewing the new material at Dingwalls in London. This is the only chance to see the new project before next spring, when the new album is released and the band start touring. The new line-up features drummer Alain Baudry and bassist Jeff Walker.

Jonny will be in the studio in August recording a new album with guitarist Matt Schofield. With four albums already under his belt, it's possible that the fifth could have a very different focus to it to bring something new into the mix. Watch this space.

Newcastle with Robben Ford
